Terms & Conditions
WordPress Brand & Website Design Intensive
1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing Lemone Studio for your Brand and Web Intensive. By booking this service, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below. Our goal is to create a semi-custom website design for you in a streamlined and efficient manner.
These terms clarify how the process works, including the timeline, revisions, payment options, and cancellation policy.
2. Scope of Services
2.1 Design Process
- This service is a 2-week website design package. Your Design Weeks are booked in advance, and prep work starts one week prior to this date. We will schedule a website prep call the week before your Design Weeks, where we’ll discuss design preferences and gather all the necessary information.
- Week1:
- Monday: If we haven’t already completed the website prep call, we’ll do this Monday morning. If you’ve purchased the branding add-on, we’ll focus on creating a logo, mood board, colour palette, and font pairing selection on this day. You’ll provide feedback by Tuesday morning. If you haven’t purchased the branding add-on, we’ll be working on installing and setting up the website and designing the home page.
- Tuesday – Thursday: Page design and build.
- Wednesday: You’ll receive a preview of the homepage to review and we’ll start refining the design based on your feedback, with the site ready for final tweaks.
- Thursday: Your website will be prepped and ready to go live by the end of the day.
- You’ll receive two weeks of email support after launch for any remaining minor changes.
- Week 2:
- Client provides one round of edits per day.
-
We’ll handle testing, SEO basics, contact forms, integrations, etc.
-
Final sign-off by Friday.
2.2 Revisions
Our process is timeline-based rather than rounds-based. The Design Week schedule allows for feedback at specific points during the week. In particular, the second week of the project is reserved for revision. Any requests for changes must be submitted by the end of each day of the second week to keep the project on track. Further minor refinements can be made during the two weeks of post-launch email support, but larger structural changes will require a separate agreement.
- Minor refinements are allowed during the Design Week, but significant custom changes, such as adding entirely new pages or features beyond what was agreed upon, will not be included in the original scope. These can be added through separate agreements or after launch.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Payment Options
- Pay in Full: £995 upfront.
- Pay in Instalments: £375 initial payment, followed by two more instalments of £375 each. Instalments occur on the same date each month as the first payment (e.g., if you pay on the 5th, subsequent instalments will be on the 5th of the following months, adjusting for weekends/holidays).
3.2 Non-Refundable Fees and Cancellations
- If you cancel with more than two weeks’ notice before the start of your Design Week, you’ll be refunded minus the £150 cancellation fee.
- If you cancel within the week before the Design Week, but before the start date, the first £400 will not be refunded.
- Cancellations on or after the start date will not be refunded, but all materials created up until the cancellation date will be provided.
3.3 Late Payments
If you have opted for an instalment plan and fail to make a scheduled payment, a late fee may apply, and delays in payment can result in delays to the project timeline. Please ensure timely payments to avoid disruption to the design process.
4. Client Responsibilities
4.1 Content Submission
You are responsible for submitting all required materials (text, images, branding elements, website logins, etc.) no later than the week prior to the start of your Design Week. If you are unable to provide these materials, we will try to accommodate rescheduling, but we reserve the right to charge a rescheduling fee of £150 if less than two working days’ notice is given. If you are unable to provide content in time, the project can still be completed using filler text and images. You will receive tutorials on how to replace these after the project is complete.
4.2 No-Show Client
Before the start of your Design Week, it’s essential to complete the client questionnaire, strategy call, and provide login information. If we are unable to get in touch with you or do not receive communication by the start of Design Week, we will attempt to reschedule. If no response is received after three attempts, we reserve the right to cancel the contract. All fees paid at that point are non-refundable due to the reserved time.
4.3 Timeline Changes
If circumstances prevent us from delivering the project on time due to reasons within our control, we will notify you immediately and attempt to reschedule or offer a partial refund depending on the work completed.
5. Rescheduling
5.1 Client Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule your Design Week, please provide at least two working days’ notice. A rescheduling fee of £150 may apply if less notice is given.
5.2 Designer Rescheduling
In the event Lemone Studio needs to reschedule your Design Week, we will notify you as soon as possible and work with you to find an alternative date. If no suitable date can be found, you’ll be entitled to a refund of any payments made minus the work already completed.
6. Completion and Post-Launch
6.1 Project Completion
Your project is expected to go live at the end of the Design Week, unless otherwise agreed. If you are not ready for the site to go live, we can publish a “Coming Soon” page and we will record tutorials for you on how to launch the website later when you are ready.
6.2 Minor Refinements
After the site goes live, you’ll have two weeks of email support to address any minor refinements. These include small tweaks or corrections but not full-page redesigns or new feature requests. For larger changes, additional costs may apply.
7. Communication
7.1 Support Channels
All communication for project updates or questions should be directed through email: support@lemonestudio.com. We aim to respond within one business day for urgent issues and 2-3 business days for general enquiries.
7.2 Office Hours
Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (UK time), excluding UK bank holidays and the Christmas shutdown period (December 24th – January 2nd).
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you confirm your understanding of the scope of services, payment terms, timelines, and cancellation policies for Lemone Studio’s Brand & Web Intensive. Your Design Week will begin on the date agreed and is based on the timely provision of necessary materials and feedback.
